Capstone Farm started as a 300 acre farm with pigs, cattle, sheep, horses, orchards and arable land, farmed by Bob Wills until the mid 80's when the council took the majority of the land back out of the lease to create what we now know as Capstone Farm Country Park. Due to lack of land, the livestock had to go, leaving enough land for a DIY Livery stables.

Bob's granddaughter, Sharyn, spent Summer holidays on the farm hay carting from the age of 9 and took over the running and management of the stables from her father, John, 6 years ago and decided it was time to bring some livestock back to Capstone Farm and diversify the business by inviting members of the public to come and learn about our latest additions - the Alpacas.
